What are the Advantages of Using Rotavators

A rotavator is special mechanical equipment used to till the land that uses a series of blades to swirl up the earth. They are generally used for gardening and farming. This is very profitable agricultural machinery for gardeners and farmers as the use of rotavator allows them to till the soil efficiently no matter what the soil type is. The rotavator is designed in such a way that it can be adjusted according to the specific requirements of depth in the soil.

So if a farmer wants the soil to be very fine, he can adjust the trailing board to give maximum tillage and if it is needed to a limited depth then it can be adjusted to the required depth. This is also known as the crumbling effect, as a rotavator allows the soil to be crumbled to an adequate density which is best suited for vegetable farming.

A rotavator is a versatile machinery that can be used on different land sizes. It is usually used as an attachment to the tractor ad needs power from the tractor to run and work on extremely large land. For a smaller land area that is smaller in size such as a vegetable garden, a compact rotavator powered by electricity will be efficient.

A rotavator is also best suited for residue mixing and removing weeds in farming. The farmers can easily mix different type of soil components while preparing the land for sowing.  The uses of a rotavator offer clean soil surface make easier the incorporation of organic substances into the soil. A rotavator allows thorough mixing of manure and vegetable residues into the soil.

It allows farmers to prepare a perfect seedbed for planting seeds by spreading the soil evenly. The rotating blade of the rotavator breaks the huge clods in the soil in order to prepare a smooth seedbed making it easier to plant seeds. Additionally, the more fine the soil is, the more fertile it becomes.
