When it comes to harvesting crops from the Field then no machine can beat the Combine harvester. A machine that can do multi-tasks in a single operation reaping, threshing, and winnowing of the crop. If you buy a combine harvester then definitely you will be eager to know how to use them.

But before you start using this machine on the field you must know how to operate them so that maximum performance is achieved.


Combine machine delivers every function collecting to thrashing and cleaning the grains. This all can be done outwardly any human interference and the time needed is dramatically less related to if done manually. Here are some points that help you increase the life of the combine machine. 


Starting the Harvester


Before you continue with harvesting the machine should be ignited and the speed should be locked so that the blade of the harvester machine does not get caught with the straw.


Choosing the Time


Time plays an important factor in harvesting. It is decent to harvest the crops after 9.00 am. The purpose for this is that there is less dew and the products are dry to be collected. It is also not acknowledged to harvest during or after a rain as this may start to blocking the harvester and strengthening the crop loss.


Adjustment of Header


The header of the combine harvester should be properly set. If the heat is large then it is seen that collecting the small straws are hard and it may also affect the next sowing. It is recommended that in such a situation the header should be reduced but not more than 6 cm unless the soil will be cut and split the knife.


Proper Handling of the Machine


It should be assured that the combine machine is moving in a straight style while harvesting. Otherwise, it may lead to not collecting all the crops and dropping them in the field. Another thing to be heeded while running a harvester is that when it had to turn the harvesting should be closed otherwise the grains may fall off from the truck.


Throttle Valve


The throttle valve should be kept at average or in an open space while you are harvesting. If this is done while the combine harvester is leaving the harvesting field it will ensure that the crops are all out.


Cleaning of Combine Harvester


The combine harvesters should be correctly cleaned of soil or any weeds that are left back after harvesting. If this is not done well then it may lead to blocking of the harvester during the next harvest.
